Mangave 'Shadow Waltz'

xMangave 'Shadow Waltz' is a smaller mangave created by Hans Hanson at Walters Gardens. This plant is a 3-way hybrid between Agave nizandensis, A. parryi and manfreda. Plants rarely get larger than 24" wide and 5" tall. These are not cold hardy below freezing but are crazy looking octopus plants. Unlike its Mangave cousins this plant has stiffer leaves like an Agave nizandensis.
 
I do not guarantee these in a zone 5/6/7 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze.
