Ferocactus pilosus 6500ft

Ferocactus pilosus or Fire Barrel Cactus is a large cactus from eastern Mexico. This was seed from near Monterrey, MX at 6500ft.  These are 3 year old plants from seed. Ferocactus pilosus has shown some cold hardiness when kept dry in winter taking down to 0F. I strongly suggest covering the plants with a small breathable cover and ive seen them survive -6F at a garden in Utah.
