Escobaria sneedii ssp. leei

Escobaria sneedii ssp. leei is found only in Eddy county New Mexico and is one the most cold hardy species of cactus. This area can get arctic fronts as it faces the great plains. This is seed made in controlled conditions and grown in the greenhouse. These plants have done quite well in our garden surviving -22F many times and never blinking an eye. The more harsh enviroment you can give them the tighter the stems will be. We dill pockets into our Red Sandstone garden and plant them in pockets. They do great and even flower every so often. Small plants pictured are what is for sale, prices on this species has gone crazy so we are offering small plants and hoping people do not resale so easily.
