Escobaria organensis
Pelecyphora organensis (syn: escobaria organensis) is a apecies restricted to the upper elevations of the Organ mountains in south-central New Mexico. This species is a Pelecyphora sneedii relative and is sometimes lumped under it. It is a larger species that clumps over time. They like being on the dry side in winter. We have grown this species outdoors over the last 20 years here in Colorado. These have taken -17F several times. Please trial these at your own risk.
