Echinocereus baileyi

Echinocereus baileyi is a member of the echinocereus reichenbachii group and has been tested to take -22F and even colder in wyoming. These are very wet winter tolerant and dry winter tolerant. This should be on your list if you are just starting out. Huge purple flowers in spring and summer if extra moisture is around. Very easy to grow species. All gardens are different but try at your own risk.
