Cylindropuntia whipplei 'ICICLE'

Cylindropuntia whipplei 'ICICLE' is our introduction of a white spined upright Whipple's Cholla. The original plant is from Northern Arizona. Plants have taken -22F several times and negative teens several time. This plant has performed well for us and is good tight cholla for the garden. Plants generally bloom from May-July. Plants for sale are ROOTED stem cuttings. Good drainage is required.
 
I do not guarantee these in a zone 5 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze.
