Bulbine abyssinica Cold Hardy Form

Bulbine abyssinica or Bushy Bulbine is like a thin succulent similar and related to aloes. These Bulbine create thick tufts of succulent grass that bloom throughtout the warm seasons. They are decidious and disappear in winter. These can get 20" and with flowers 36" tall. one of the easiest to grow once you get it established. It prefers good-draining soil and full sun but will tolerate some shade. Plants have taken -11F and come back after winter.
 
I do not guarantee these in a zone 5/6 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze.
