Agave shrevei var. magna Black Spined Agave
Agave shrevei ssp. magna is a species from Creel, MX near Copper Canyon. This was a very important species to the Tarahumara which is my Indigenous blood type, so its only fitting to offer these. Agave wocomahi is another that was important to the Tarahumara. Both these plants share genetics and are fairly similar in cold hardiness. Both species have taken 0.2F with minimal damage in our garden but our first freeze was 16F after it being 80F+ the day before. so they may be more cold hardy??? Trial at your own risk but a definate beauty.
