Agave durangensis 7500ft

Agave durangensis is found in Durango, MX. These are used to make mescal but make great landscape plants in Zone 7 and up. Seed came from 7500ft. Plants took 9F in Las Vegas Nevada during one of their coldest winters, plants were untouched which lead me to believe they are more cold hardy than previosly thought. They are related to Agave chrysantha, A. palmeri and A. flexispina which have some good cold tolerance to them.
